In borrowing from Kim Scott's approach to management, and Marty Cagan's approach to product, I make sure my team feels empowered, supported and inspired to do their best work building the right thing. As a former engineer, I have a problem-solving background and use those skills to help designers on my team interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data in a way that applies leverage to their talents. A completely new financial product targeted at near-prime borrowers. My team leveraged foundational research and lots of usability testing to guide the design of our product across web, native app, and physical channels.
