I live in Brooklyn with my wife Paris and my dog Hiro. I got started in design in 2007 when placed with the German Corporation for International Cooperation in Malawi. Working as an engineer on a new wood-fired curing barn that was designed to greatly reduce the amount of wood required, it became apparent that no consideration had been given to the human factors involved in adopting this new technology. After dozens of interviews on the ground it became apparent a training program for recipients of the new barns was desperately needed. My love for design was born.
Since then I've been working mostly in digital design, specializing in responsive web apps and ecommerce.
I love space, and am an Earth & Science explainer at the American Natural History Museum in New York. I also have a small telescope that I use to spot Saturn's rings on clear nights.
